3 SAGE Students compete at MATHCOUNTS Competition
Jacob Hofstetter (PEGS), Finn Mabrey (Antioch Middle School), and Eli Simon (New Mark Middle School) scored among the top 20 at Burns and McDonnell MathCounts contest and competed at the Missouri State MathCounts contest.

NKC Spelling Bee winner competes at regional spelling bee
Ace McGee, from our PEGS program, won the NKC School PEGS Spelling Bee and competed at the Mid Continent Public Library Regional contest.

Top 10 finisher in Sifma Foundation Stock Market Game
James Culver, from Gateway, scored in the top ten of Sifma Foundations Stock Market competition. He learned to manage a virtual portfolio using real market data, make strategic investment decisions, and learn how markets and economic events shape the global economy.

Harper Pollman from New Mark Middle School was awarded 2nd Place at the Kansas City Invention Convention for her invention titled "AutoSpin Resist".

After a month of engineering and problem-solving, these North Kansas City Schools SAGE fourth- and fifth-graders put their handmade vessels to the ultimate test to see if they would sink or swim. Weather Wonders: Our SAGE students at the Northland Innovation Center had an amazing time getting hands-on with FOX 4's own Michelle Bogowith! As a meteorologist, Michelle shared her experiences with students and taught them about the causes of severe weather.
